Vanessa walked across the sandy beach. Her hood clinging on to her hair. Vanessa sighed. Camp Rock got boring every so often. The classes were fine some of the time, food was alright, the campers were....no comment.

Vanessa sat down on the ground. Who cares if her pants got wet and sandy? She needed to rest. She stared out into the water. "I can feel you all around me. Thickening the air I'm breathing. Holding on to what I'm feeling. Savoring this heart that's healing." Vanessa sang. It was a song she had written a few weeks after she had arrived at Camp Rock. Vanessa took a breath. She'll start at the beginning.

This fire rising through my being.
